CITY NEWS OHIO.COM Recently added to the Italian American History Collection at the Western Reserve Historical Society is a collection of 100-year-old musical compositions by Cleveland immigrant Pietro Oddo and his son, Frank Oddo.
WRHS associate curator for Italian American History, Pamela Dorazio Dean, was able to locate the original Oddo compositions, secure their preservation through donation to the museum, and then lay the groundwork to have them played at The Feast of the Assumption in Cleveland where this music was heard for the first time in about 100 years.
