The event kicks off with an inaugural interview with Auster, whose work has been translated into 34 languages, along with a video dedication from filmmaker Wim Wenders. The following evening will mark the official presentation of a graphic novel version of City Of Glass, one of Auster's most famous books. A photography exhibition exploring New York by William Klein, one of the city's natives now based abroad, will reflect some of the themes in Auster's work, in which the Big Apple plays a dominant role. Dedica will draw to a close on April 4 with a jazz concert featuring Don Byron and the Uri Caine Trio, offering their own interpretation of Auster's work and a musical homage to New York.
