    Art & Culture
    Stefano Albertini(September 21, 2017)
Casa Italiana Zerili Marimò at NYU is producing its own in house web series dedicated to the Italian language. Each episode of Parole Parole features a special guest presenting an Italian word that is dear to them for literary, linguistic, historical or purely personal reasons.
  • Reading is waning in Italy as elsewhere, and the number of those saying they had read at least one book in the past year dropped from 43% in 2013 to 41.4% in the year 2014. But still they read, and even as Italy celebrates the 90th birthday of its famous Encyclopedia Treccani an amusing website collects details of what commuters are reading these days on trains.
  • The show directed and starring Massimiliano Finazzer Flory returns to New York. With him, Gilda Gelati, prima ballerina at La Scala and Elsa Martignoni, violinist in the Giuseppe Verdi Orchestra. The costumes were made by La Scala Theatre’s designers.
