    Accomplished Italian composer in residence at NYU, Roberto Scarcella Perino, graced the audience with the US premiere of his “Piano Sonata No. 3” played by virtuoso pianist Giuseppe Bruno along with other pieces from the maestro's repertoire.

    At NYU’s Casa Italiana Zerilli-Marimò, hosted by the director Stefano Albertini, the Sicilian songstress Alessandra Salerno, spiritual winner of The Voice of Italy 2015, sang her heart out in both English and Italian telling her story to Letizia Airos, the Editor in Chief of i-Italy. She showcased not only her talent, but also her passion through a musical conversation that let the audience experience Alessandra’s world.
