The Quattro Portoni farm and cheese factory, located in Cologno al Serio, 15 km outside of Bergamo, is a true family company in every sense of the term. In fact, representing it at the Fancy Food Show, one of the world’s most important food fairs held each year in New York’s Javits Center, is Bruno Gritti, founder and owner along with his brother Alfio, along with his wife and two young daughters. And one of them, Roberta, is the one who tells us, with great confidence and passion, about their story and of course their future. “The bufale weren’t very well-known in the North of the country, they are tendentially typical of Southern Italy”...a great bet for them, which they won.
