Mourners hold a candlelight vigil for those who lost their lives
On December 19th, a semi-trailer truck was stolen in Berlin while the hijacker then proceeded to drive the stolen vehicle through one of the most popular Christmas markets in the German capital, ruthlessly killing 12 people and injuring 56 others.
