In the Shadow of no Towers (after Art Spiegelman)

After the 9\11 attack Art Spiegelman, worldwide famous Maus' author and downtown newyorker, designs a series of comics about "his own" 9/11.

What comes out is a catartic trip , an exorcism against the fear and the mental disorder caused from the tragic event who affected New York and the all world.

Without getting involved in the fascination of conspiracy theories and showing a huge feeling of human compassion, Spiegelman finds the right balance to express his ideas about the difficult topic even saving a light and bitter irony: privilege possible just for a direct witness of those tragic days.

Inspired by the comics' book "In The Shadow of No Towers" Anne Rothshild, Maria Isabel Gouverneur and Marco Cappelli decided to transpose the story in a video accompanied by the music of Sintax Error, a trio whose focus is the relation between music and images.
