Elena Bonelli Brings Rome to New York

Marina Melchionda (October 07, 2008)
I-Italy interviewed Elena Bonnelli. The singer is back in New York and will perform at the Carnegie Hall in New York. Her show is entitled “Roma in the World”

Elena Bonelli is back in New York. On the occasion of the Columbus Celebrations she will offer to her affectionate New York public a new longed-for performance.

My show Roma in the World is meant to homage the culture of Rome, the Eternal City, and its representatives. I will sing the most famous Roman traditional songs, including Roma nun fa la stupida, Tanto pe’ canta’, Vecchia Roma and Le Mantellate. My Band, composed by Giandomenico Anellino, Luca Perroni and Francesco Suraci, will accompany me in a peculiar and original reinterpretation of these masterpieces.
