“Canova e la Danza” is coming to the Italian Institue of Culture in New York City May 23. Highly revered for his sculptures, Canova also painted beautiful classical scenes which will be displayed at the exhibition until June 28.

The Fall of the Rebel Angels by Andrea CommodiThe Italian Cultural Institute’s “An Obsession with Michelangelo, The Fall of the Rebel Angels” exhibit featuring Andrea Commodi’s “Study of the Fall of the Rebel Angels” painting is open through January 11, 2018. Along with the painting, there are four of his sketches that demonstrate his influence by the renowned renaissance artist, Michelangelo.
