Little Italy’s Italian American Museum hosted a seminar on “The Mediterranean Diet: Present, Past and Future,” featuring presentations by experts on the subject. The seminar occurred on the heels of the passage of a new law in Calabria that looks to promote the Mediterranean Diet in relation to Nicotera, the birthplace of the Diet.

On Sunday, November 12, the Italian American Museum hosted its “Ambasciatore Awards Ceremony and Dinner” at the Crest Hollow Country Club located in Woodbury, New York. The event was a chance to acknowledge the contributions of various Italians and Italian-Americans in promoting the Italian culture and also supporting the Italian American museum.
