  • Following the Italy Run, organized by the Consulate together with Nutella Cafe and New York Road Runners, which took place on June 2nd, the celebrations for Italian National Day picked up again the following day at the Italian Trade Agency, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Consulate General of Italy, with a series of events featuring prominent Italian brands, figures, food, and a delightful jazz performance by Chiara Civello.

  • Italian Republic Day in New York. It kicked off the day before and the celebrations went on the whole day on June 2nd. Countless events marked the Italian National Day: offices and branches of all Italian institutions were open to all. And then Expo 2015, art, music, sport, tastings and the screening of the movie about Giacomo Matteotti.
  • The Consulate General, ENIT, ITC, The Italian Cultural Institute and the Scuola d'Italia opened their doors to all. This year the birth of the Italian republic was celebrated, for twelve hours straight, in several events that welcomed Italians, Italian Americans and Americans alike. Among great art, music, theater, film design, food and wine guests honored the Republic without forgetting the hardships Emilia Romagna is facing after a destructive earthquake.
